Yes I Mark Ress am a PROUD father and to share some of that joy with you I thought I’d share my daughter Isis’ Memorial Day 2008 performance.
My beautiful daughter Isis belongs to the Kei Alaha Polynesian Dance School in Diamond Bar California and they along with the Diamond Bar/Diamond Point Recreation Center put on this Memorial Day celebration/performance.
Not only was there song, dance and music but they also fed everyone who attended some REALLY yummy BBQ Chicken, Spicy Hot-Links, Hot Dogs, Burgers and plenty of juice and soda to drink.
My family and I had a GREAT time today and we just wanted to share a little bit with you here today. First will be the video of Isis and her group performing and then I will add some pictures of some of the other dances. If I can get around to it I will add some more videos because there were a total of about 7 different dances from the various Islands and cultures of Polynesia.

Mark,
This was great. What a way to spend the day. I really enjoyed the little one in the audio yelling for Isis. It was great and very enjoyable. Thanks for sharing.

Hi Mark,
Happy Memorial Weekend. Isis did an awesome job! Looked like a really fun event. When there’s song, food, music and family, you can’t go wrong. Glad you enjoyed it.

Mark,
Your daughter is really talented. She shaking it, and she doesn’t even have anything to shake yet.
Just wait until she does. That’s when the trouble starts. Having had two daughters I know what trouble shaking it can cause.
But she is really a good dancer, especially to be such a little kid.

Way to go, awesome performance, what a workout that is it looks like a lot of fun.
Aptly named Isis - the goddess from whom all Beginnings arose - I see the beginnings of a great talent and artistic spirit, keep dancing as it is a metaphor for happiness in life and to pick a style that has a story behind the movement is even better.
Mark what a proud pa pa you must be to have a talented daughter, from the sounds of it, sounds like she has a supportive little sis too.
What a fun family moment and event.
Thanks for sharing I loved it.
You know Men do that style too, now that would be something to see -

Hey Mark,
wow, that was so cool!
We did a similar thing - should you ever come to Germany let us know, I think Isis would enjoy that too.

ISIS ROCKS (and rules).
Dude you’d better get a large intimidating gun for when Isis starts having boys come calling for dates.
As the father of a cute girl (now 25) I can tell you that an scary Dad is the best guarantee those boys will follow Dad’s rules.
It’s clear the other part (a loving father) is already firmly in place.
Congrats on the great video and thanks for the smile.
Now Im going to practice my moves.
